Lori, The Rebel HR, is a talent strategist, recruiter, and coach with 27 years on both the agency and corporate sides of hiring. She helps companies build talent engines that actually work and gives jobseekers the transparent, no-BS truth about how hiring really happens.
Long bio
Lori is the founder of The Rebel HR, a talent strategy and coaching practice built on one idea: less noise, more truth, better strategy. Over 27 years in recruiting and hiring, across agency and corporate, startups and enterprise, she has seen every side of the table and every way the process can break.
Today she advises leadership teams on talent strategy, talent operations, recruitment marketing, and employer brand, and places embedded recruiting talent through contract, fractional, and RPO models. She coaches executives and people leaders one-on-one, and gives back through pro-bono coaching for jobseekers who need it most.
Online, Lori is known for her straight-talk content: the weekly Straight No Chaser Coffee Chat AMA and the Live Reacts series, where she debunks job search misinformation about ATS myths, AI auto-reject panic, and LinkedIn nonsense. She also runs The Rebel HR Career Community, a free space for jobseekers and career pivoters.
